Where will the event be held?

The Noosa Food & Wine Festival will be held in Noosa across various locations including the Festival Village in the Lions Park at Noosa Heads, on Noosa Main Beach, on Hastings Street, in the Noosa Hinterland and in various Noosa restaurants.

What’s included in the Festival Village ticket?

Included in your ticket to festival Village is your entry, complimentary Festival glass a complimentary glass of Dal Zotto Prosecco on arrival. You will have access to all of the stalls where you can purchase food from some of Noosa’s best restaurants, try new beers, ciders and wines and sample artisan products from producers across Australia.

Entertainment includes ‘Chefs skills’ with celebrity chefs and a line-up of musicians in the afternoons.

Is there parking available onsite at the Festival Village?

There will be limited parking available around Hastings Street so it is recommended that you either walk from your accommodation or take the Festival shuttle bus.

What happens if it rains?

The event is an all-weather event. If it rains we recommend wearing suitable clothing.

Is the Festival environmentally friendly?

Noosa Food & Wine Festival is working with Plastic Free Noosa to reduce plastic waste throughout the Festival.

Is the Festival Village an all ages event?

Yes, the Festival Village is an all ages event and is wheel friendly. Please note that all minors must be under the supervision of a responsible adult and this is a condition of entry.

Is there a dress code?

No – just comfortable!

Is there any difference between Saturday and Sunday in the Festival Village?

Yes! Each day will feature a new line up of chefs doing cooking demonstrations and sessions at the Chefs Skills Table. The live entertainment line up is also different between the two days.

How do I pay for food and drink that I buy in the Festival Village?

This year the Festival Village will be cashless (ooh!) which means bring your debit card, credit card, Android or iPhone (with mobile wallet enabled) and get ready to 'tap & go'.

Every stall in the Festival Village will only take payment with a Visa, Mastercard or Amex debit or credit card or your smart phone with 'tap & go' functionality.

No pesky tokens, no ATM machines charging $3.50 a transaction, no lining up for currency and no hassles.

Just repeating - cash will not be accepted at this year's festival. You must bring your debit or credit card that has 'tap & go' functionality.

Will there be a shuttle bus?

A complimentary shuttle bus will run between the Noosa Transit Centre, The J in Noosa Junction and Lions Park, Festival Village.

Getting to Noosa

Noosa is serviced by Sunshine Coast Airport which is 20 minutes drive to the south. Daily flights connect Sydney (1.5 hours) and Melbourne (2.25 hours) airports.

Brisbane Domestic and International Airports are only 1.5 hours drive to Noosa.

Are pets allowed in the Festival Village?

No. No pets are allowed in the Festival Village however we are guide dog friendly.

Are there free wine tastings from different wineries in the Festival Village?

Due to liquor licensing requirements, wineries are unable to provide free tastings but will be offering tastings at a nominal cost. Your Festival Village pass does include a complimentary glass of Dal Zotto Prosecco on arrival. A complimentary glass is also included.

Tourism for Trees

Noosa Food & Wine Festival is excited to support the Tourism Noosa sustainability program Trees for Tourism which assists Noosa’s natural assets and supports Noosa & District Landcare’s rehabilitation initiatives, in particular the Noosa Trail Network Revegetation Project. Your $1 contribution (included in your Festival Village ticket price) will help us provide shade trees for walkers, assist with erosion and improve the habitat for local wildlife species.

Can I request a refund if I am no longer able to attend?

No.You can however transfer your ticket to a family member or friend.

How do I receive my tickets if I am successful?

Your tickets will be sent electronically to your nominated email address.

Can I give my tickets to a family member or friend?

Yes. If successful you can transfer your tickets to a family member of friend.
