Free Easter buses
Hop aboard a free holiday bus around Noosa this Easter from Good Friday, 30 March to Sunday 8 April on Sunbus routes 626, 627, 628, 629 and 632 which cover from Tewantin to Noosaville, Noosa Heads, Sunshine Beach, Noosa Junction, Noosa Civic, Sunrise Beach, Cooran, Cooroy and Pomona. Free Easter Treasure Hunt at the Original Eumundi Markets this Easter Saturday March 31 for the first 300 children to the market office (pink building in the market centre) from 8am. Follow the clues and make your way through the markets to receive a chocolate Easter treat at the end. The Easter Bunny will join in the market fun with Jasmine the Macaw from Maleny Botanic Gardens. Wildlife HQ are bringing bunny cuddles and other animals to meet. Also live music. The markets are open 7am-2pm.
Kenilworth Cheese, Wine & Food Fest
Take a scenic Noosa Country Drive to the Mary Valley for the Kenilworth Cheese, Wine & Food Fest this Easter Saturday, 31 March, in Kenilworth Park and Cheese Factory, 7am-4pm. The Great Cheese Rolling Contest is open all day from 8.30am for all ages, $2 entry. The Golden Cheester Egg Hunt for 4-7-year-olds starts 10am, $2 entry, register from 8am. Kids can bring their decorated hat for the Easter Hat Parade at 11am. Also see the baby animals at Old Macdonald’s Animal Farm, gourmet cooking demonstrations with Peter Wolfe at 10.30am and 1.30pm, wine and cheese tastings all day, live music with Ruba Tuba, Cruizey Camel Rides, gourmet food stalls from around the region, wine makers, bushfoods and beverages. The Australia Zoo Water Park is OPEN! This fun-filled area (pictured above) is open to all guests and boasts spectacular wildlife sculptures. Cool off in the above-ground water adventure park, designed for keeping even our youngest guests safe and cool. It’s eco-friendly, with recycled water components.
An enormous laughing frog tips bucket loads of water on to those below when it starts croaking, and there’s a giant kookaburra, bubbling crocodile and many more to come! There’s a Giant Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday – explore the Zoo while picking up eggs that can be exchanged for prizes. The Easter bilby will hand out hot cross buns and Easter eggs from 30 March to 1 April 1 while stocks last. See the Irwin family feed the crocs in the 12pm Wildlife Warrior show in the Mount Franklin Crocoseum from 30 March to 2 April. There’s also pony rides and free face painting over the Easter weekend.
From 2-15 April, try Robert’s treasure hunt around Australia Zoo – grab a map at admissions and learn about Robert’s favourite animals. There’s also Laser tag in an inflatable maze for kids under 5yrs from 11.30am – 12.30pm and 4-4.30pm daily, and free face painting on weekends from 9-11am, pony rides, colouring competition and major prize draw.

Easter Bunny at Noosa Fair Shopping Centre
The Easter Bunny will visit Noosa Fair Shopping Centre, Lanyana Way, Noosa Heads this Easter Saturday, 31 March, 10am to 2pm. Take a selfie with the Easter Bunny and enjoy free chocolate eggs.
Celebrate the 2018 Commonwealth Games with a free giant snow globe at the centre, complete with sporting podium, Tues 3 April to Thurs 5 April, 10am to 3pm. Kids can come dressed in their sporting gear and receive a free 6 x 8 photo inside the snow globe.

These April school holidays, kids are invited to go on an underwater mission with Nickelodeon’s PAW Patrol SEA Patrol at Sea Life Sunshine Coast that will turn each explorer into an honorary member of the pup squad! Upon entry, kids receive their own adventure map as they embark on their underwater voyage, finding some of the PAW Patrol pups and matching them to their custom sticker sheet.
On route to finding their favourite characters, little explorers will meet some of the world’s most amazing underwater creatures, including playful Australian sea-lions and majestic grey nurse sharks. Then snap a photo alongside your favourite characters.
