At the heart of the afternoon is the celebrated Spiedo Bresciano — a centuries-old cooking ritual where carefully selected meats are slowly roasted for hours, patiently basted in butter and red wine to create extraordinary tenderness and deep, layered flavour. More than a dish, spiedo represents celebration, community, and the timeless Italian tradition of coming together around the table.
This special event recreates the spirit of a Brescian family feast: free-flowing spritz aperitivo all afternoon, generous shared courses, and a relaxed rhythm that invites guests to settle in, connect, and savor every moment. Seasonal accompaniments and thoughtful storytelling complement each course, honouring the craftsmanship and heritage behind one of Italy’s most revered culinary traditions. Hosted by Alessandro and Anna Pavoni, alongside Maestro’s Executive Chef Gianmarco Pardini, this is an afternoon of pure Italian joy — as Noosa meets Brescia — an afternoon of slow food, shared plates, and the unmistakable joy of Italian hospitality.
You’ll want to be on the guest list at Cibaria Noosa for this exclusive lunch on the sun-soaked Terrazza, where they will bring their “rias” to life — from Salumeria’s artisanal meats to the Spaghetteria’s handmade pasta. Under the watchful eye of Head Chef Lucas Bach, Cibaria Noosa serves Queensland’s finest produce with a side of laughter and “salute!”
It’s going to be loud, it’s going to be delicious, and it’s going to be unforgettable. Pull up a chair — at Cibaria, everyone is family.
